About HVAC.Network

We are a Canadian marketing and business consulting service that helps HVAC companies with several locations build search coverage that holds up. We don't do HVAC work ourselves.

Written by Ali Sedighi, MBALast updated:

HVAC.Network is a digital marketing and business consulting service for heating and cooling companies that have outgrown a single location. We help owners decide how their branches, brands and divisions should appear online, then build and measure that structure. We are not an HVAC contractor, and we never install or repair equipment; our job is the marketing that brings your branches their calls.

Who we are

HVAC.Network is part of the Sedighi.ca and SAZ.ca group of companies. It's a Canadian group whose head office is in Vancouver, British Columbia, and our HVAC.Network clients are spread from coast to coast.

  • Sedighi.ca is the consulting company through which Ali Sedighi runs growth, marketing and technology work. Its family of brands takes in HVAC.Agency and HVAC.Digital on the heating side, plus Trades.Agency, BusinessConsulting.ca and Conv.ca.
  • SAZ.ca, short for Strategy & Acceleration Zone, is a Canadian firm advising on strategy, AI and revenue acceleration. Ali founded it and is its Founder & Managing Partner; Sedighi.ca provides its strategic leadership.

HVAC.Network sits inside the HVAC.Agency family. Plans, pricing and the published case studies come from HVAC.Agency; this site focuses on one problem those clients keep raising, which is how to grow coverage when you have more than one location.

Ali Sedighi, MBA

Ali Sedighi leads the work. He holds an MBA in Technology Management and has more than 17 years of experience, starting in 2007, when he founded ONE.ir, a full-service digital marketing agency. He now lives and works in Vancouver, British Columbia.

Beyond HVAC.Network, Ali started Conv.ca, which specialises in conversion-rate optimisation, and MyAutomation.ca, alongside his Founder & Managing Partner role at SAZ.ca. His clients have been in Canada, the USA and Dubai.

In HVAC specifically, Ali has built 150+ live HVAC websites. That portfolio includes CombiBoiler.ca, GasBoilers.ca, Roma Heating & Cooling, BoilerPart.ca, CanroHeat.ca, HeatLand and BCWide.ca. Building that many sites for heating companies is where the lessons on this site come from: which structures compound over time, and which ones turn into maintenance burdens nobody wants.

You can read more about him on Sedighi.ca and HVAC.Agency.

Why a site about networks, and what we mean by one

The word "network" has a bad reputation in search, and for good reason. For years, some agencies sold HVAC owners a bundle of city domains, each with a copied page, all linking to one another. Google's spam policies now describe both halves of that tactic: doorway abuse for the copied city pages, and link spam for the cross-linking.

We use the word in its honest sense. A multi-location HVAC company really is a network: branches, warehouses, crews, divisions and sometimes acquired brands. The question is how that real network should show up online. Our answer is usually one strong main site with real location pages, plus a separate site only for a division that truly stands on its own.

That is also why this site links to very few other domains. We link to our parent, HVAC.Agency, and to official sources, and we keep it at that.

How we work

Our working method is the same whether you have two locations or twenty:

  1. Start with facts. An inventory of every branch, domain, profile and phone number, plus what each one produces today.
  2. Decide on paper. A written structure plan with a one-sentence reason for each decision, reviewed with you before any build.
  3. Build with your people. Location pages need input from the managers and technicians who know each area. We interview them and do the writing.
  4. Measure by branch. Calls and booked jobs for each location, every month, so you can see what changed.
  5. Revisit yearly. Branches open and close, programs change, and the structure should keep up.

We don't promise rankings or lead counts. We show you the reasoning, the work and the numbers.

What we won't do

Some requests come up often enough that it's worth saying plainly what we decline:

  • creating Google Business Profiles at addresses where nobody works
  • writing or buying reviews, or asking customers to review a branch that didn't serve them
  • publishing swapped-name city pages in bulk
  • building sites whose main purpose is linking to your other sites
  • presenting results from other companies as if they were yours

If an agency has suggested any of these to you, our guide to doorway pages and link schemes explains the risk.

Frequently asked questions

Who owns HVAC.Network?

HVAC.Network is a brand of the Sedighi.ca and SAZ.ca group of companies. Its parent marketing service is HVAC.Agency, and the work is led by founder Ali Sedighi, MBA, from Vancouver, British Columbia.

Are you an HVAC contractor?

No. We plan and run marketing for HVAC companies. We don't install, repair, maintain or inspect any equipment, and we don't give technical, code or engineering advice.

Why does a network brand avoid building site networks?

Because the word 'network' should mean a well-organised set of locations and divisions, not a ring of thin sites linking to each other. The second kind is named in Google's spam policies. The first kind is how a growing HVAC company stays findable.

Do you work only with large HVAC groups?

No. Many of the companies we help have two or three locations. The structural decisions are the same at that size, and they are cheaper to get right early.
